Virtual Reality

This page features a variety of different virtual reality experiences designed for PC and Mobile VR. These include real-time simulations of real world environments for PC,  computer generated 360 degree video for Mobile VR, and digital sculpting / 3D modelling in VR.

This is an ongoing project in which I am creating a photoreal simulation of the interior of my house which runs in realtime as interactive VR experience using Unreal Engine 4

Software Used:

This project demonstrates the following skill sets:

  • 3D modelling and texturing

  • Physically based shader creation from photographs

  • Photogrammetry - 3D mesh creation from photographs

  • Mesh optimization for games engines

  • Virtual reality standalone app creation


Photogrammetry along with 3d modelling and texturing are the techniques I use to create highly realistic detailed 3d models from photographs of real life objects.

These examples can be viewed in a web browser as interactive 3d models or in virtual reality using a headset.

Virtual Sculpting

For the last 6 months I have been embracing virtual reality technology as more intuitive means of digital sculpting and 3D modelling. I am mostly using the VR software Oculus Medium and Gravity Sketch for creating these 3D assets which can in turn be used in virtual reality, animation and even 3D printing.

These examples can be viewed in a web browser as interactive 3d models or in virtual reality using a headset.

360 ° Video

These are a selection of my experimental 3D environments I have created and then rendered as 360 degree video so they can be viewed using Mobile VR or simply in a web browser
